Ownership and Management
This page describes the ownership and operational management of the Indonesian Health Science Journal (IHSJ). It clarifies the relationship between the journal owner, the publisher, and the editorial team to ensure transparency, accountability, and editorial independence in the journal's publishing activities.
1. Journal Ownership
The Indonesian Health Science Journal (IHSJ) is owned and published by Universitas Nazhatut Thullab Al-Muafa Sampang, Indonesia, which provides institutional support for the journal's scholarly publishing activities.
Copyright ownership and licensing of individual articles are governed by the journal's Copyright and Licensing policies.
2. Operational Management
The publisher provides institutional and administrative support for the journal's operations and dissemination. Day-to-day editorial activities are managed by the Editor-in-Chief and editorial team in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and procedures.
3. Organisational Accountability
Universitas Nazhatut Thullab Al-Muafa Sampang is responsible for the institutional and operational support it provides to the Indonesian Health Science Journal (IHSJ). Matters concerning institutional administration, publishing resources, and organisational support are addressed through the university and the journal's designated administrative channels.
The journal's editorial team is responsible for managing the editorial process and making manuscript-related decisions within its assigned authority. Manuscript acceptance or rejection is determined through editorial evaluation, taking into account the manuscript's scholarly quality, relevance to the journal's scope, compliance with publication requirements, and peer-review recommendations where applicable.
Institutional ownership and operational support do not, in themselves, determine the editorial outcome of any individual submission. The journal is committed to maintaining a clear distinction between organisational accountability and editorial decision-making.
4. Institutional Relationships
The institutional affiliations displayed alongside editors’ names identify their professional affiliations. These listings do not, by themselves, establish ownership, institutional management, sponsorship, or endorsement of the journal by those institutions.
Any formal institutional relationship affecting journal ownership or operational management will be identified explicitly, together with the nature of the relationship and a link to the organisation’s website where available. Financial support and sponsorship arrangements are disclosed separately under Revenue Sources and Sponsorship Disclosure.
5. Editorial Independence and Accountability
Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief or authorised editors based on scholarly quality, peer-review outcomes, and the journal's publication criteria. The publisher's ownership and institutional support do not determine the acceptance or rejection of individual manuscripts.
6. Changes in Ownership or Management
Any significant changes to the journal's ownership, publisher, or management arrangements will be updated on this page to maintain transparency and accountability.
