Access Policy

Access Policy

Indonesian Health Science Journal (IHSJ) provides immediate, free online access to its published articles. Readers do not need a subscription, payment, institutional affiliation, or registered account to read or download the full text.

  1. Immediate Full-Text Access

Published research articles are available in full from publication date. Access is not limited to abstracts or previews. Full text is provided in PDF.

  1. No Reader Access Charges

IHSJ does not charge readers subscription, pay-per-view, or download fees for its online articles. Access does not depend on membership, purchase of another service, or institutional authentication.

Any applicable Article Processing Charge is an author-side publication charge, not a reader-access fee. Amounts and payment conditions are provided separately on the APC / Publication Fees page.

  1. Registration And Journal Accounts

Registration and login are not required to browse published issues, read articles, or download publicly available full-text files.

Accounts may be required for manuscript submission, reviewer assignments, editorial administration, or optional account-based services. These functions are separate from public reading access.

  1. Access And Reuse Rights

IHSJ’s published articles are made available under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. The Licensing policy explains the applicable reuse rights and conditions, including any clearly identified third-party material with separate terms.

  1. Public And Non-Public Materials

Public access to articles does not automatically extend to submitteds, private correspondence, reviewer manuscript reports, or internal editorial records. Access to those materials is governed by Confidentiality.

Research data held outside the published article may be subject to legitimate privacy, consent, contractual, or other restrictions. Exceptional restriction or removal of published material for compelling legal, privacy, or safety reasons follows Scholarly Record Updates. Such action is distinct from a subscription barrier or publication embargo.

  1. Technical Access and Interruptions

The journal aims to maintain access for readers regardless of location. Temporary outages, broken links, or unintended access barriers may occur and should be reported for investigation.

Technical security measures should be proportionate and should not unnecessarily obstruct legitimate reading, downloading, or indexing. Where an access problem is identified, the journal will seek to restore access or explain an available alternative.

Report an Access Problem

Contact person with the article title or DOI, the affected URL, and a description of the error. If a file is inaccessible or difficult to use, describe the difficulty so that the editorial office can assess available assistance.
